You and your district partner are responsible for researching your topic and teaching yourself what is important to know and share with your other students.
You should look for pages: - explain the concept and application - contain games for practicing - include quizzes for testing
Creating a Webpage
You will be responsible for creating 1 webpage to "house" your research. This will be a chance to learn how to create a weebly page.
CONTENT - create a logical order for your information - include a definition - include samples to help illustrate the concept - include sources of information - provide links to games and quizzes - do not copy and paste directly from another website. You can paraphrase but cite the work.
FORMAT - create a unified look to the webpage by using up to 3 fonts (that includes bolded fonts) - use headings to help divide space - make sure there are no spelling mistakes
Presentations
You will make a 5 -10 minute teaching presentation to your class. In your presentation please include:
- an introduction to your topic - present your weebly page - an explanation of the concept and why it is important - exercises or tests to help the audience practice their new information - end with demonstrating what games and quizzes you found most useful
